Who it's for

Built first for people who can work from anywhere and choose where.

DOMOS speaks to technical people from the IT world, teams and local partners who see Sardinia as a serious base, not a postcard backdrop.

Developers and AI builders

If you write code, build AI products or lead a tech team, DOMOS is a base for focused work with fast, redundant connectivity and people who do what you do.

Founders, CTOs and teams

If you run a team, it is where offsites and retreats actually ship, in the productive shoulder season, not the crowded summer.

Local partners

If you build locally, it is a network to plug into: hospitality, outdoor and cultural partners welcome.

What you get

What you get for joining now

A front row seat to the build

Follow the Cabras pilot take shape: the space, the choices and even the setbacks.

The places and people around the hub

The homes, hotels, rentals and restaurants you would actually use, and the local partners we work with.

First access to workshops and events

Online and in person programming before it opens to everyone.

What working from Cabras is really like

The rhythm of a workweek here, where to focus, and what is five minutes on foot from your desk.

Why now

Sardinia does not lack beauty. It lacks connected infrastructure for longer stay digital work.

The island has the ingredients, but the offer is still fragmented and seasonal. Remote workers and AI builders need more than a view and an internet password.

Seasonality

Tourism is concentrated in the summer, while local businesses need activity across more months.

Unused spaces

Existing buildings and village assets can become productive places again without new construction.

Fragmented offer

Workspaces, stays, outdoor experiences, events and local services need to be connected.

Founding community

Digital professionals stay where they find peers and energy. That community is being started now through the founding circle.

The model

A desk is not enough. DOMOS is a local innovation community.

DOMOS connects work, temporary stays, outdoor experiences and AI programming into one recognizable Sardinian network.

Work

Coworking, call rooms, fast, redundant fibre connectivity and meeting spaces for focused digital work.

Live

Local hospitality partnerships for stays from few days to six months, without turning DOMOS into a hotel.

Explore

Surf, trekking, climbing, sailing, MTB, archaeology and nature through local operators.

Build

AI workshops, events, residencies, founder sessions and shared projects.

The first hub validates the model in the Sinis. The long range goal is a Sardinian network with one brand, one community and one shared digital layer that lets you explore the island according to your outdoor passions.

Cabras / Sinis pilot

The first pilot starts from Cabras, in the Sinis.

Cabras and the Sinis, on Sardinia's west coast, are the starting point.
The Sinis brings together nature, archaeology, sea, outdoor sports and a rhythm better suited to deep work.

1

Coworking and community space for remote professionals.

2

AI workshops and international conferences for the tech world.

3

Training and AI project development for digital transformation.

4

Newsletter first community before crowdfunding.

5

Outdoor and cultural experiences with local partners.

6

A measurable pilot before scaling to the rest of Sardinia.

Regional vision

From one pilot hub to a Sardinian network.

Each hub should reflect its territory.
DOMOS is not a copy and paste coworking chain, but a distributed network of local identities connected by a shared community and digital platform.

Sinis / Cabras

Surf, wind, archaeology and birdwatching.

Supramonte

Trekking, climbing and canyoning.

Ogliastra

Climbing, coastal trails and MTB.

Sulcis

Surf, mining routes, diving and MTB.

Gallura interna

Limbara, gravel, MTB and northern coast access.

Marmilla

Archaeology, Giara, gravel and rural heritage.

The network ambition is territorial, digital and measurable: prove one hub, then connect the next ones through partnerships.

AI ecosystem

Why AI belongs in small Mediterranean places.

AI work does not need to happen only in Milan, Berlin, London or Lisbon.
Smaller territories can attract talent if they offer infrastructure, community and meaningful quality of life.

AI workshops

Practical sessions on LLMs, automation, RAG, agents and applied AI.

Residencies for builders

Focused periods for founders, engineers, designers and researchers.

Founder and team retreats

Structured time for product strategy, prototyping and deep work.

Local upskilling

Useful AI literacy for local professionals and partners.

Community projects

Shared experiments that connect digital talent with local needs.

Where it can lead

As the community grows, DOMOS aims to connect professionals, local companies and founders: the kind of network where real opportunities surface over time.
That is the ambition, built step by step, not a promise of jobs today.

Building in the open

We're building in the open.

DOMOS is early. The landing is live, the newsletter is running, and we're securing the first space in Cabras. Joining now means you see every step, give input that shapes the pilot, and get first access when it opens.

Founder story

I'm Maurizio Brioschi, founder of Shardana.ai.

Maurizio Brioschi, founder of Shardana.ai and DOMOS Network

I've spent about 25 years building software, technical leadership and architecture, with many years of international experience abroad, between Germany, Italy and beyond.
I moved to Sardinia, to the Sinis, and kept doing high level tech work from here.

  • Shardana.ai is an independent technology hub focused on software, automation and artificial intelligence.
  • DOMOS is the proof that serious work, real infrastructure and community can be built from the territory rather than imported into it.
  • The first pilot starts from Cabras because quality of life here is higher, and because I strongly believe this is not only a tourist destination for cultivating personal passions, but a place where people can work, build and find synergies, especially outside the tourist months.

Places like the Sinis can attract serious digital talent if we build the right infrastructure, community and trust.
